Terraplay Systems Releases Tools for Network Game Development

Terraplay Systems has released its first set of tools for game developers that will allow the integration of Terraplay's platform (an IP-based system that distributes and prioritizes real-time data) into all online games.

Terraplay says it has made bandwidth usage a priority to optimize in its new SDK, with the system intelligently adapting and prioritizing volumes of game data for available bandwidth. This is particularly important for online games that are developed for mobile Internet. The system is designed to work with all types of games, including sports games and games with large game worlds.

The development kit and documentation will be available on Terraplay's Web site for downloading and cost-free use for 90 days.
