GameFly Rental Chart Highlights: Week Ending November 14

This week's GameFly video game rental charts for North America, specifically relating to games rented via the games-by-mail service for the week ending November 7th, show popularity over multiple game formats.
On the all-platforms rental chart, Activision's Western sandbox game Gun is the #1 most wanted with gamers this week, debuting in the top position. Last week's emperor, Star Wars Battlefront II has given ground to the rebels, landing at #2, while Shiny's The Matrix: Path of Neo, which shows players more of the movie action than they got to see in Enter the Matrix, rounds out the all-formats trinity.
On the individual platform charts, Star Wars Battlefront II has retained its stronghold on the PS2 platform-specific list, maintaining a #1 Force chokehold on the competition. Gun comes in at #2 on the PS2 list, ahead of Resident Evil 4. Gun, however, is the law west of these parts on the Xbox, where it rides into town on a horse named #1. Star Wars Battlefront II gets cut down a notch to land at #2, and The Matrix: Path of Neo completes this week's Xbox trilogy.
Another new Mario game is on top of the GameCube lists, as Mario Party 7 launches with the packed-in microphone. Behind it are last week's #1, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, now stranded a little further down the road at #2, and Mario Superstar Baseball at #3 for a full count.
It may be some time before anything else unseats Pokémon Emerald at #1 on the Game Boy Advance charts -- our guess is it's got a clear path until the December release of Final Fantasy IV. In second place on Nintendo's popular handheld is Gunstar Super Heroes, a rare sequel from Treasure, and #3 is The Legend of Zelda: the Minish Cap.
Metroid Prime Pinball takes the lead at #1 on the Nintendo DS, over Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, down at #2 this week. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney remains at #3 on a technicality, but it may be fast-tracked out of the top three once Mario Kart arrives on next week's charts. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories continues what's likely to be a long stay at #1 on the PSP charts, given the series' popularity; new challenger SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs: Fireteam Bravo can only manage a second-place showing against its might. Finally, #3 for the week is the portable version of Star Wars Battlefront II.
