US based Online Korean developed game publisher Gala-Net announced that it has signed a long term contract with Korean security solutions company AhnLab. The CEO of Ahn Lab, Kim Chul Soo(Charles Kim) and Gala-Net CEO, Satoru Kikugawa shook hands to finalize the agreement of the contract.

In conjunction with this new deal, AhnLab's security technology, Hackshield Pro will be initially used in the massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) Space Cowboy Online, which was first released for the PC in May 2006. Future games from Gala-Net will also use the security software.

Hackshield is an intelligent real-time hacking detection and blocking solution designed specifically for online gamers. The software is capable of detection and blocking of hacking tools, prevention of counterfeiting and modification of program files, screening for memory hacking, blocking of SpeedHack programs that tamper with the system time, and prevention of runtime modifications.

In addition, the software also offers anti-debugging protection, while also checking for message hooking and blocking of auto-mouse operations.
