German video game publisher dtp entertainment has announced that veteran game developer Jane Jensen will officially announce her next adventure game project Gray Matter during a press conference at the Leipzig Games Convention on August 24. dtp will publish Gray Matter worldwide in the fourth quarter of 2007. Following the press conference, Jane Jensen will give autographs at the ANACONDA theater.

Jensen is most widely recognized as the creative force and designer behind Sierra's supernatural-themed Gabriel Knight series of PC adventure games, of which there were three, the last of which, Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned, was released in 1999. All three Gabriel Knight titles won numerous industry awards. Jensen has also authored novels such as 'Judgement Day' and 'Dante's Equation', as well as a novel based on the first Gabriel Knight game.

Most recently, Jensen co-founded casual game studio Oberon Games (Inspector Parker) along with the engine designer for Gabriel Knight 3, Scott Bilas. Gray Matter represents Jensen’s first adventure game since the 1999 release of Gabriel Knight 3.

“With Jane Jensen, we have signed on a real star of the adventure gaming scene to our team.” commented Carsten Fichtelmann, marketing director of dtp entertainment. “Her past releases are legendary – Jane Jensen has an excellent reputation. We are very happy to be working with her on her new project Gray Matter, bringing the adventure gaming genre forward once again.”
