GameFly Charts Overpowered By Saints Row, LEGO Star Wars

This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending September 8, highlights the popularity surrounding video game titles that have been already released, as well as those that are yet to debut.
As has been the case in recent weeks, titles developed for the Xbox 360 topped the cross platform chart for the week, with THQ's GTA-inspired Saints Row again serving as the most requested game across all platforms. LucasArts' multiplatform LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy climbed one spot to secure the second spot on the chart, followed by Atari's Eden-developed racing game, Test Drive Unlimited.
LEGO Star Wars II was also a popular request for the original Xbox for the week, beating out all other titles on that console. Electronic Arts' Madden NFL 07 continued to light up the scoreboard from the second position, while Midway's recently released Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run, which stars wresting and film personality Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, rounded out the top three Xbox requests for the week.
LucasArts' popular LEGO Star Wars sequel was equally popular on the GameCube for the week, topping the chart as the most requested game for Nintendo's home console. D3P's anime fighting game Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 was the second most requested title for the platform for the week, followed by Namco and Nintendo's upcoming role-playing game, Baten Kaitos: Origins.
LEGO Star Wars II was forced to be content as the second most requested PlayStation 2 release, however, as Capcom's upcoming stylish adventure game Okami topped requests for Sony's venerable console. The top three PlayStation 2 requests for the week were capped off by Sega's free-roaming underworld action title, Yakuza.
Once again, it was Nintendo's popular Pokemon franchise that dominated Game Boy Advance requests for the week, with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Pokemon Emerald catching the top two spots respectively on the chart. However, as if to conform to the week's request theme, it was LEGO Star Wars II that rounded out the list of titles requested by GameFly users for the period. Turning to the Nintendo DS, Nintendo's recently shipped Star Fox: Command once again ranked on top of the chart, followed by Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and mascot-inspired sports game, Mario Hoops 3 on 3. Interestingly, LEGO Star Wars II only ranked fifth in terms of Nintendo DS requests for the week.
PSP requests for the week were topped by Sony's recently shipped platfromer LocoRoco, which was followed by the ever popular LEGO Star Wars II in second place on the chart. Electronic Arts' Def Jam: Fight for NY-The Takeover rounded out the top three PSP requests for the week.
Like clockwork, Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed again ranked as the most requested PlayStation 3 title in anticipation for the console's November release. The action game was followed by Activision's upcoming Call of Duty 3 and Sony's Resistance: Fall of Man. Looking to the Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl was the most requested title for Nintendo's upcoming console, followed by the Wii version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and the highly anticipated Super Mario Galaxy.
