Mobile: Versaly Making MS Mobile Game Tie-Ins

Mobile entertainment company Versaly announced today that it has acquired the rights to create mobile personalization products based on a trio of Microsoft Game Studios titles, for the US and Canadian markets.

The company intends to leverage the licenses to release ringtones and wallpapers based on Age of Empires III, Zoo Tycoon 2 and Perfect Dark Zero. Versaly noted that announcements of additional titles "will follow soon after."

“Versaly is excited to be working with Microsoft to extend the best game titles in the market to branded mobile personalization. This is what Versaly does best,” said Matthew Feldman, president and CEO of Versaly Entertainment. “We expect strong demand for this content, based on the overlap in the target demographic for interactive games and the core demographic for mobile phone personalization.”

Versaly has similar licensing deals in place with a variety of media companies, including Viacom, Paramount, and Lions Gate Films, among others.
