Eidos subsidiary Secret Stash Games has announced two new DS titles for in its "punchy, modern" lineup, including the Breakout inspired Nervous Brickdown and strategy action game Glory Days 2.

In development by Paris' Arkedo Studios and due for a summer 2007 release, Eidos promises Nervous Brickdown will turn "classic brick-breaking gameplay on its head" with retro gaming worlds including space shooters, action platforms and haunted houses.

Featuring 10 modes and 135 levels, players will control submarines, take on boss monsters, or blow the ball into bricks, the latter presumably using the DS' microphone.

Glory Days 2 also due in summer 2007 from Odenis Studios, is a strategy-based sidescrolling shooter DS sequel to the Atlus released Game Boy Advance title Super Army Wars.

The game will feature strategy play in managing wartime tactics like deploying units, rescuing civilians, and capturing enemy bunkers, as well as more straight forward action shooting with "epic war stories and unforgettable battles."

Its single player mode will feature customizable battles with three gameplay types and eight different environments, the ability to create custom designed maps, and multiplayer modes for up to 8 players.

Secret Stash Games is a boutique subsidiary of Eidos with the goal of offering "punchy, modern, and unique video games," including the previously announced Escape from Bug Island for Wii, and as well as handheld releases Diner Dash, Chili con Carnage, Pocket Pool and Touch the Dead.
