Sierra, Team 17 Send Leisure Suit Larry To Hollywood

Sierra Entertainment has announced Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust, the latest title in the long-running "lovable loser" series, for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and mobile phones planned for the fall of 2008.
In Box Office Bust, serial bachelor Larry takes summer job on his uncle Larry's movie lot, and ends up trying to protect the studio from a rival. Gameplay will include mission-based exploration, platforming, racing and puzzle-solving. The game will also feature a "Director's Game" that allows the player to create their own Larry movies.
Happy Madison Productions' Allen Covert will write the "sophomoric comedy" script, and actors Jay Mohr, Dave Attell, Shannon Elizabeth, Carmen Electra, Artie Lange, Patrick Warburton, Jeffrey Tambor, Nikki Cox, Peter Graves and Josh Keaton will all have roles in the game.
Development on Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust will be headed by Worms studio Team 17 rather than Magna Cum Laude developer High Voltage. Vivendi Games Mobile is handling the mobile version of the game, which will be available in Europe and North America.

The collaborative efforts of Allen Covert and cast make this the most amusing and immersive Leisure Suit Larry video game yet."
