Titles rolled out in the initial update include realtime strategy Act of War: Direct Action and Act of War: High Treason, tactical FPS ArmA: Combat Operations, and " the ultimate collection of the original games that inspired generations of gamers," Atari 80 Classics in 1.
Atari is also adding third-person stealth action game Death to Spies, Western RTS Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge, Quantic Dream's Indigo Prophecy, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum, and Tycoon City: New York.
Atari says that in the coming weeks, it will also be adding Neverwinter Nights 2, NeverWinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer, and its cult hit RPG The Witcher.
Said Atari's online entertainment VP Nizzi Renaud, "Atari is excited to team up with Steam and deliver great games through a digital platform that our fans have asked for. We look forward to making an extensive collection of games, across many genres, available to Steam's extensive, globally-connected community."
