Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in an exclusively compiled list.

This week brings Left 4 Dead's 'Game Of The Year' edition, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2, Raiden Fighters Aces, and Battlestations: Pacific to consoles in North America, while Japan gets Bleach: Heat the Soul 6 and a PSP remake of Growlanser.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending May 16th, 2009.

Valve's Left 4 Dead 'Game Of The Year' edition, including extra Survival Pack content not in the original retail release, Atlus' RPG sequel Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon headlines console offerings in North America this week.

The Xbox 360 will receive the shooter compilation Raiden Fighters Aces, along with the real-time strategy title Battlestations: Pacific and the PC-ported action-RPG Sacred 2: Fallen Angel.

Wii owners can expect to see the competitive puzzler Puzzle Kingdoms, minigame compilation Help Wanted, and a port of Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball. Portable releases for this week include Konami's wizard academy life sim Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times and a port of the popular online Flash game Desktop Tower Defense.

UK Wii owners will receive an exclusive English-language localization of Hudson's Olympic sports-themed minigame compilation Sports Island 2 (Deca Sporta 2) this week. The Xbox 360 will host the retro arcade compilation Namco Museum: Virtual Arcade and band simulation title Rock Revolution, while the DS gets Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Stardust Accelerator: World Championship 2009.

Japan sees a reduced release schedule this week in the wake of the recent Golden Week holiday. PlayStation 2 releases for this week include Idea Factory's adventure title Arcobaleno! and Tecmo's pachi-slot simulator Rakushou! Pachi-Slot Sengen 6, while the PSP is set to host the anime-based fighter Bleach: Heat the Soul 6 and a remake of Growlanser.
