Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in an exclusively compiled list.

This week brings Ghostbusters and Guitar Hero: Smash Hits to North America, while Japan gets Tomodachi Collection and Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending June 20th, 2009.

Multiple adaptations of the Ghostbusters film franchise will hit all seven major platforms in North America this week. The Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, and PC platforms will each see a version of the game developed by Terminal Reality, while the Wii and PlayStation 2 will get a more cartoonish take on the series courtesy of Red Fly Studios. The Nintendo DS will receive its own unique Ghostbusters port from developer Zen Studios.

The Guitar Hero track compilation Guitar Hero: Smash Hits will also be released across all consoles in the United States this week. The Nintendo DS will see a broad lineup of unique offerings, meanwhile, with highlights including the puzzler Roogoo Attack and the Grasshopper Manufacture-developed adventure title Flower, Sun and Rain.

Outside of a handful of budget-priced reissues, no new console titles will be released in Japan this week. Instead, the entirety of this week's lineup centers around portables.

The Nintendo DS will host a pair of puzzle releases in Level 5's Tago Akira no Atama no Taisou series, along with Nintendo's Tomodachi Collection and the manga-based sniper title Golgo 13: File G-13 o Oe. PSP owners can expect to see a port of Capcom's PS2 fighting game Fate/Unlimited Codes.
