Wii Fit Plus ousted Football Manager 2010 to gain the top spot on the weekly UK sales charts for the week ended November 7, while BioWare's role-playing game Dragon Age: Origins made a strong debut, Chart-Track reported Monday.

Nintendo's Wii Fit Plus -- in its second week of availability -- saw unit sales climb 3 percent week-over-week on the all-platforms charts to capture the top spot. Last week's number one, Sega's Football Manager 2010, dropped to number four.

The highest-ranking debut on the all-platforms charts -- which include all versions of a given title -- was Electronic Arts' and BioWare's critically-acclaimed RPG Dragon Age, which ranked number five.

The only title dropping out of the all-platforms rankings from last week was Borderlands from Gearbox Software and 2K. Below is Chart-Track's all-platforms top 10:

UK All Platforms Chart

1. Wii Fit Plus (Nintendo)
2. FIFA 10 (EA)
3. Wii Sports Resort (Nintendo)
4. Football Manager 2010 (Sega)
5. Dragon Age: Origins (EA)
6. Forza Motorsport 3 (Microsoft)
7. Mario and Sonic at Olympic Winter Games (Sega)
8. GTA Episodes: Liberty City (Take-Two)
9. Pro Evo Soccer 2010 (Konami)
10. Tekken 6 (Namco Bandai)

UK Individual Platforms Chart

On the individual platforms chart, which ranks games by each version of all titles, the Wii-exclusive Wii Fit Plus was the top runner, followed by another Wii-only game, Wii Sports Resort.

The Xbox 360 version of Dragon Age outsold the PC version (number 11), while the PS3 version of the game is due later this month in PAL territories. Insomniac and Sony's PS3-exclusive Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time debuted at number 16.

1. Wii Fit Plus (Nintendo, Wii)
2. Wii Sports Resort (Nintendo, Wii)
3. Football Manager 2010 (Sega, PC)
4. Forza Motorsport 3 (Microsoft, Xbox 360)
5. GTA Episodes: Liberty City (Take-Two, Xbox 360)
6. FIFA 10 (EA, Xbox 360)
7. Dragon Age: Origins (EA, Xbox 360)

Let's not forget about the number of downloads of the PC version of Dragon's Age on Steam, D2D, EA etc. Normally the PC version sell 1 copy for every 8-12 copies on 360. I wouldn't be surprised if with this title it's closer to 50/50, making it an ok hit on console and a superb hit on PC!!!!!

This will tell publishers that PC gamers DO buy and don't just pirate, and that if you give PC gamers what they want (deeper more sophisticated games) they will buy it in droves!
