Tigon Studios Announces Secret Service , Mentions Riddick Sequel

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that X-Men director Bryan Singer has partnered with actor Vin Diesel's videogame production company, Tigon Studios, to develop an all-new game called Secret Service.

Billed as a character-driven, tactical action adventure title, Secret Service will follow the life of a Secret Service agent who has been assigned to the president's detail. The game is being developed with Mark Feigin, a former staff member on the White House advance team. Feigin previously liaised with the Secret Service on behalf of President Clinton, Vice President Al Gore and first lady Hillary Clinton. While specific plans for Secret Service haven't yet been confirmed, the article goes on to speculate on the possibility of the game concept reaching other mediums such as film.

In other Tigon-related news, Diesel recently confirmed, in an interview with film website ComingSoon.net, that another game based on the Riddick movie/game series is in the pipelines, following the Xbox success of the Starbreeze Studios-developed, Tigon-produced The Chronicles Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay. Speaking with Coming Soon regarding the DVD release of the Chronicles Of Riddick film, Vin Diesel revealed: "There's a sequel to the video game being made. There is constantly work being put into the franchise."

In addition to the DVD release of the film, there's also a new SKU of the original Riddick title looming on the horizon. The Chronicles Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay - Developer's Cut, the PC version of the popular first-person Xbox title, is scheduled for release throughout North America on December 7th, 2004.
