Stream Theory Signs StreamTech European Deal

Stream Theory, Inc. has announced that it has signed a contract with StreamTech of The Netherlands to provide software-streaming solutions to game ISVs, portals, and ISPs in the Benelux region, Germany and France. StreamTech is a division of Van Der Have Media B.V., a company specialized in editorial and technical solutions for the video game and entertainment related industry.

”Adding the Stream Theory software-streaming platform to our portfolio allows us to offer products and services that let our customers successfully compete in the games-on-demand space,” said Jimmy Van Der Have, CEO of StreamTech. “Besides handling all of the aspects of integrating, hosting, communications and systems management, we are also providing syndication services so that a multitude of game titles become available on the streaming platform to smaller ISPs and portals who could not easily negotiate many separate contracts.”

"StreamTech’s proven expertise in deploying streaming solutions makes them an ideal channel partner for Stream Theory in Europe,” said Steig Westerberg, CEO of Stream Theory. “StreamTech is as focused on and committed to streaming solutions as we are. There is a significant opportunity for both companies to expand the reach within the games-on-demand market and catapult it into wide-spread adoption.”
