Becky Heineman

Rebecca Ann Heineman, Lead Software Design Engineer (Microsoft Corporation), has been developing computer game software since the dawn of the 8 bit era. She was one of the founders of Interplay Productions, and was responsible for such hit games as Bard's Tale III, Mindshadow, Out Of This World SNES, Wolfenstein 3D Mac, and Wasteland. Her most recent titles are The Battle For Middle Earth II, Command and Conquer III, BratZ: Forever Diamonds, and Alvin and the Chipmunks. She currently works in the XNA Developer Connection group at Microsoft in Redmond Washington, helping developers make better games on all Microsoft platforms. When not programming computers, she writes an online webcomic, Sailor Ranko.
