Simon Parkin

With a background in videogames journalism writing extensively for Edge magazine (2002 - present) , Eurogamer (2004 - present), The Escapist (2008), Official UK Xbox and PlayStation magazines as well as a raft of other high-profile print titles and sites, Simon now additionally works in game production across both console and web-based titles.

Having worked at Kuju Entertainment/ Zoe Mode writing the Game Design Document for a forthcoming Xbox 360 title as well as the script for Sega PSP game, Crush, Parkin now handles, amongst other things, the production and game design of all Paramount Pictures Flash games (used to promote their film IP) at Littleloud.

Simon also wrote the game design document for the Channel 4 interactive drama Bow Street Runner, a web game released in 2008 to critical acclaim.
He continues to work extensively as a freelance games critic for many of the aforementioned publications as well as writing Yahoo UK's weekly games review coverage and occasional copy for brands such as Xbox.com and Square Enix.

His fortnightly column Chewing Pixels can be read at GameSetWatch, and is occasionally cross-posted on Gamasutra.
