Richard Ryan

Dr. Richard Ryan is a key researcher on the Immersyve team and Professor of Psychology, Psychiatry and Education at the University of Rochester. Over the past 20 years he has authored over 200 research and theory articles on motivation, focusing on a wide-range of applications in areas such as sports, education, business, and health. Since teaming up with Immersyve he has become broadly interested in motivation within virtual environments, and its application in both entertainment and Serious Games contexts such as education and health care.
