Damien Djaouti is an Associate Teacher in Computer Science at the University of Montpellier II (France). His field of research lies in the design and use of video games for purposes going beyond entertainment (i.e. Serious Games): education, communication, healthcare, politics, art... He is currently studying and developing theoretical methods and software tools that can help teachers to design Serious Games for education.
He is also the co-founder of LudoScience, an associative research laboratory dedicated to the study of video games.
