Eelke Folmer

Eelke Folmer is an assistant Professor at the University of Nevada in Reno. Previously he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Software Engineering group at the University of Alberta. He received a PhD degree from the University of Groningen where he worked on the European Union funded Software Architecture for Usability (STATUS) project investigating the relationship between usability and software architecture.

His current research interests involve interaction design for games specifically focusing on the qualities usability and accessibility. He is also interested in component based game development & software architectures for games/gambling systems.
