ChinaJoy: 10tacle Studios, 9You Form Strategic Partnership

Officials from German game developer 10tacle Studios (GT Legends, Neocron) have announced a strategic partnership with Chinese company Nineyou Information Technology (9You), one of the region's largest providers of online music and casual games. The announcement was made during ChinaJoy, the Chinese games show in Shanghai.
The agreement covers the sales and marketing of 10tacle Studios' products within the Asian market, the joint development of new multiplayer games, and the porting of existing concepts to Europe. The two companies estimate that the new Asian-European partnership will generate additional revenue potential of over $10 million over the coming two years.
Michele Pes, CEO of 10tacle Studios commented: “This partnership is a vital step in our growth strategy in Asia and will greatly influence the earnings prospects of 10tacle Studios. Together with our partner 9You, we will develop extremely attractive projects in Asia and Europe.”
10tacle has been steadily expanding its business over the last year, with the formation of 10tacle Studios Mobile, a wholly-owned subsidiary focused on development for mobile platforms, as well as the 2005 acquisition of Belgian developer elseWhere Entertainment.
