The Dubai government is searching for a game developer with experience in artificial intelligence and multiplayer gameplay design to help create a training application for the Dubai Police Force.

The job description, posted at Serious Games Source sister site Gamasutra, notes that the game will be created using CryEngine 3.0 technology. No further details regarding the game itself are specified.

The position requires C++ skills and experience working with 3D authoring tools such as 3D Max and Maya. Prior experience with scripting languages, database programming, Flash, and ActionScript is also desired.

Resumes and demo reels can be sent to [email protected] and [email protected] for consideration. Applicants can begin immediately, and must be able to relocate to Dubai for the position.

Representatives note that the Dubai Police Force was the first Arabic police team to apply DNA testing in criminal investigations, and was the first to use electronic finger printing in the region. The recent job posting suggests that the Dubai government also aims to become a regional pioneer in serious games and training applications.
