More: Console/PC

Sega continues to focus its attention on porting classic titles from the company's Dreamcast catalog to XBLA and PSN with the announcement that "digitally remastered" versions of Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Sega Bass Fishing will arrive on the digital distribution channels early next year.

The release of these games marks Sega's ongoing effort to bring its best-sellers from the Dreamcast era to the latest consoles," said Haruki Satomi, VP of Digital Business at Sega.

"We want to enable a new generation of players to experience some of the most celebrated titles our video game history has to offer, while at the same time appealing to our enthusiastic and much appreciated community of fans."

Space Channel 5 Part 2 is a rhythm action dancing game developed by United Game Artists under the direction of Tetsuya Mizuguchi. The game features a cameo from Michael Jackson.

Sega Bass Fishing, by contrast, is a 3D fishing simulator, which found fame for its use of a fishing rod peripheral on Sega's Dreamcast hardware.

The two games follow previous Dreamcast releases Sonic Adventure and the forthcoming Crazy Taxi.
