Newsbrief: The iOS version of popular Nintendo DS title Scribblenauts has sold over one million copies in the App Store since launching last year, announced publisher Warner Bros. Interactive.

The game was released in October 2011, and quickly climbed to number one in the top paid iPhone game charts. The game combines a variety of levels found in both the original Scribblenauts game and its sequel Super Scribblenauts.

Developer Iron Galaxy said that it will release a free update later this month as a thank you for reaching the one million downloads milestone.
