Peter Moore To Keynote Casual Connect Seattle 2007

Representatives from conference organizers The Casual Games Association have announced that Microsoft corporate vice president Peter Moore and MTV Networks executive vice president Steve Youngwood are to give the keynote speeches at the Casual Connect Seattle 2007 event.

The conference is due to take place from July 17th to 19th at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall, with Moore’s speech scheduled to take place on Wednesday 17th at 10am and Youngwood’s on Thursday 18th at 10am. Details of the topics for each keynote have not yet been revealed.

Other confirmed speakers for the event include representatives from RealNetworks, Last Day of Work, MumboJumbo, Neopets, Shockwave.com, Nickelodeon’s Nick Arcade, Sandlot Games, iWin, Reflexive Entertainment, Kongregate, Joju Games, Rebel Monkey, PopCap Games, Oberon Media, PlayFirst, Fuel Industries, Yahoo! Games, GameTrust, Vivendi Games, NHN USA and gameLab.

Other events scheduled during the three days include presentations and panels on various topics including ad-supported games, casual gaming innovation and community building. As well as dedicated developer workshops and roundtables a one-day “boot camp” will also be run on July 16th for designing and making casual games.
