Video Games Live To Perform Halo 3, BioShock Music

Video Games Live, which features music from the most popular video games performed by top orchestras and choirs, has announced worldwide tour dates for a new show kicking off this fall. Working directly with game developers and publishers, Video Games Live will perform the world premieres of Halo 3, BioShock, Conan, StarCraft II and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix video game music scores.

Video Games Live combines video footage and music arrangements with synchronized lighting, solo performers, special effects, electronic percussionists and interactive segments.

The Video Games Live lineup already includes the music of Mario, Zelda, Warcraft, Halo, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear Solid, Myst, Sonic, and others. This year, more interactive video screens, synchronized lighting, special effects, stage production and audience participation have been added to the performance as well as new musical segments.

“Our goal of building Video Games Live as a worldwide brand is becoming a reality,” said Marc Geiger, senior executive VP of Touring for the William-Morris Agency. “Tommy & Jack have created a very special and unique event experience that is not only a hit with gamers but also speaks to a general mainstream global audience as well.”

For the complete list of tour dates, visit the official Video Games Live website.
