Nintendo has unveiled the next titles in its popular Pokemon RPG franchise, with two games due for release in Japan this coming June and Europe and the U.S. in Fall on Nintendo DS.

As revealed by Game Freak's Junichi Masuda, and as translated by Andriasang, Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 are direct sequels to the previous pair of games in the series.

It's notable that this is the first time a pair of games in the main Pokemon series has been given a number, rather than given a new pair of colors.

A teaser website for the games is now online which shows, as per usual with the series, the two legendary Pokemon that will appear on the box art for either game.
