Popular award-winning London-based video game radio show One Life Left and Gamasutra on Friday announced an official podcast that will be recorded on-site at next week's Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

One Life Left's trio of hosts, along with Gamasutra editorial staff, will be sitting down during the week with notable guests including Braid and The Witness creator Jonathan Blow, Fez developer Phil Fish, Minecraft lead Jens Bergensten, Goldeneye 007 director Martin Hollis, LucasArts writer Evan Skolnick, Insomniac Games' Dwight Okahara and Chris Olander, and more.

The One Life Left team consists of game designer Ste Curran, former creative director of Zoe Mode and current creative head at Echo Peak, author and game industry PR veteran Simon Byron, and actress Ann Scantlebury. (See Curran's detailed One Life Left/GDC blog post here.)

One Life Left normally broadcasts live on London arts radio station Resonance 104.4 FM for one hour on Mondays at 7 p.m. local time. In 2009, the show won a Games Media Award for "Best Podcast/Broadcast," and has previously topped Apple's iTunes charts.

The GDC podcast kicks off on Tuesday evening on the Mezzanine level of San Francisco's Moscone Center at 6:30 p.m., and will take place in front of a small audience. Evening shows will also take place on Wednesday and Thursday.

One Life Left will also be recording at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the bottom of the escalators in Moscone Center's North Hall.

Gamasutra will be posting both the afternoon and evening podcasts shortly after each one concludes, bringing listeners insight from notable game industry guests. All shows are one hour.

GDC takes place March 5-9 in San Francisco, and is run by Gamasutra parent UBM TechWeb.
