Every week, Gamasutra rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Draw Something and DragonVale earning top iPhone sales, while Slotomania and Modern War emerge as big sellers on the iPad.

These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies.

Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings.

This week's top-grossing iPhone titles are:

1. Draw Something ($0.99)
2. Draw Something Free (Free)
3. DragonVale (Free)
4. Poker by Zynga (Free)
5. Slotomania (Free)
6. Kingdom Conquest (Free)
7. Texas Poker (Free)
8. World War (Free)
9. Bejeweled Blitz (Free)
10. Crime City (Free)

OMGPOP's social drawing title Draw Something occupies the top two spots in today's revenue chart, with the paid ad-free version edging out the free edition in this week's results.

Former chart leaders DragonVale and Poker by Zynga drop to third and fourth place, meanwhile, as Playtika's Slotomania continues to rack up microtransaction revenue at fifth place.

Here are this week's top-grossing iPad applications:

1. Modern War (Free)
2. Slotomania (Free)
3. DragonVale (Free)
4. Slotomania HD (Free)
5. Draw Something ($0.99)
6. Poker by Zynga (Free)
7. Mystery Manor: Hidden Adventure (Free)
8. Smurfs' Village (Free)
9. Battle Nations (Free)
10. Bejeweled Blitz (Free)

Funzio's Modern War earns top honors in the iPad rankings, overtaking last week's chart leaders Slotomania and DragonVale.

Draw Something falls to fifth place, meanwhile, as Game Insight's Mystery Manor: Hidden Adventure moves up to seventh after previously placing ninth.
