38 Studios Hires EA Vet Kosenki As Product Development VP

Developer-publisher 38 Studios has announced that former Electronic Arts Los Angeles senior development director Michael Kosenki has been appointed vice president of product development.
Kosenski will oversee all aspects of the game development process, working closely with President and CEO Brett Close, Vice President of Creative Development Scott Cuthbertson, and CTO Jon Laff.
In his role at EALA, Kosenki supported the development of the Medal of Honor franchise and most recently completed Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars on Xbox 360. He also provided technical and creative oversight for EALA's Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2 entry into the console market. Prior to his role at EA, Kosenki was a producer on Nightcaster and a lead engineer on the Nomads of Klanth MMO at VR1/Jaleco.
38 Studios, founded in 2006 by Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling, is in pre-production on an original fantasy IP driven based on concepts by R. A. Salvatore and Todd McFarlane. Its upcoming products will include an MMORPG, novels, comics, toys, movies, TV, and more.
