The latest release in the behemoth Angry Birds franchise has been downloaded more than 10 million times, less than three days after launching.

Angry Birds Space launched last week for iOS, Android, Windows PC and Mac, and is apparently headed to Windows Phone as well, although there was a little confusion last week regarding whether this was the case. Developer Rovio revealed this latest figure via Twitter.

At last count, the franchise has seen over 700 million downloads across all versions and all platforms. Rovio values itself at at least $1.2 billion as it eyes an eventual IPO.

Wow $1.2b valuation and an eventual IPO. Internet bubble 2.0.
