[In this weekly column, Gamasutra rounds up the most popular paid and free iPad gaming applications on the App Store as of today, with Angry Birds Space, Skylanders Cloud Patrol and Bike Race Free currently ranking among the platform's top downloads.]

This week's top paid titles are:

1. Angry Birds Space HD ($2.99)
2. Draw Something ($0.99)
3. Skylanders Cloud Patrol ($0.99)
4. Clear Vision (17+) ($0.99)
5. Infinity Blade ($0.99)
6. Where's My Water? ($0.99)
7. Angry Birds HD ($2.99)
8. Real Racing 2 HD ($2.99)
9. Cut the Rope HD ($1.99)
10. Fruit Ninja HD ($2.99)

Rovio's Angry Birds Space HD and OMGPOP's Draw Something lead as the iPad's biggest-selling apps for the third week running, while Activision's collectible figure-based shoot-'em-up Skylanders Cloud Patrol claims third place in its debut week.

FDG's sniper sim Clear Vision remains a strong seller at fourth, as Firemint's Real Racing 2 HD reports a resurgence in sales at eighth place following the launch of the iPad 3.

Here are this week's top free iPad applications:

3. Ice Age Village
4. Tiny Monsters
5. The Tribez HD
6. Rat on a Skateboard
7. Temple Run
8. Words With Friends HD Free
9. Modern Girl
10. Hero Academy

Publisher Top Free Games takes on reigning chart leader Draw Something Free with its recently updated stunt biking sim Bike Race Free in this week's free chart results, as a microtransaction-supported sim title based on the Ice Age animated film series takes third place.

TinyCo's Tiny Monsters ranks in at fourth place, meanwhile, leading over Game Insight's The Tribez HD and Donut Games' longtime App Store favorite Rat on a Skateboard.
