As part of its 2011 financial results, Ubisoft revealed that RedLynx's Xbox Live Arcade hit Trials Evolution had sold half a million units just three weeks after its April 18 launch.

The game originally set a new record for highest grossing day-one sales on Xbox Live Arcade, selling more than 100,000 copies in its first day after releasing, although this was beaten earlier this month by the Xbox 360 edition of indie hit Minecraft, which has already sold more than one million units globally on Xbox Live Arcade since its release.

The publisher also said that there was "great multiplatform potential for RedLynx brands," hinting that Trials may be heading to other platforms. In an earnings call, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said RedLynx games also offer "big multiplatform digital revenue potential."

RedLynx's MD Tero Virtala teased other platforms for the game to Gamasutra last month, noting that the franchise's physics-based gameplay "creates very little limitations."

Ubisoft also announced shipped figures for a number of its other titles, as reported by GameSpot. Assassin's Creed: Revelations has shipped 7.2 million units to date, while both Driver: San Francisco and Rayman Origins have shipped 2 million units each.
