Newsbrief: Less than a month after its release, Mojang and 4J Studios' Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is already the biggest selling game on Xbox Live Arcade (based on revenue) after moving more than 2 million copies.

Priced higher than most XBLA titles at $20, the Microsoft-published game managed to outsell The Behemoth's 2008 multiplayer beat'em up Castle Crashers, which has sold 2.6 million copies on XBLA but is priced at $15.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition as already outsold the mobile versions of Mojang's indie game, which have pushed a total of 1 million copies. The open-world sandbox game's PC version has sold more than 5 million copies.
