1. Plague Inc. (Ndemic Creations, $0.99)
2. Catapult King (Chillingo, $0.99)
3. Angry Birds Space (Rovio, $0.99)

Ndemic Creations' pandemic sim Plague Inc. captures the top spot in the iPhone's paid charts following the release of a sizable update. Chillingo's recent hit Catapult King ranks in at second place, pushing former chart leader Angry Birds Space to third.

A new iOS game based on the popular Cartoon Network animated series Adventure Time earns fourth place in today's results, while Ludia's Where's Waldo? In Hollywood returns to the charts at seventh place after dropping in price to 99 cents.

Here are this week's top free iPhone games:

1. Bag It! (Hidden Variable Studios)
2. Parking Frenzy 2.0 (Games2win)
3. Madagascar: Join the Circus! (D3 Publisher)
4. Rope'n'Fly 2 (Robert Szeleney)
5. 100 Floors (Tobi Apps)

Hidden Variable Studios' grocery-bagging sim Bag It! tops the free app charts, fending off competition from Games2win's puzzler Parking Frenzy 2.0 and the animated film-based Madagascar: Join the Circus!

Robert Szeleney claims fourth place with Rope'n'Fly 2, as Get Set Games' Mega Run trails 100 Floors at sixth.
