[In this weekly column, Gamasutra rounds up the most popular paid and free gaming applications on Google Play as of today, with Temple Run: Brave, Max Payne Mobile, and 100 Floors currently ranking among the platform's top downloads.]

This week's top paid titles are:

1. Temple Run: Brave (Disney, $0.99)
2. Cut the Rope (ZeptoLab, $0.99)
3. Draw Something (OMGPOP, $2.99)
4. Where's My Water? (Disney, $0.99)
5. Angry Birds Space Premium (Rovio, $0.99)
6. Max Payne Mobile (Rockstar, $2.99)
7. Rebuild (Sarah Northway, $0.99)
8. Minecraft: Pocket Edition (Mojang, $6.99)
9. Fruit Ninja (Halfbrick, $1.22)
10. Grand Theft Auto III (Rockstar, $4.99)

Disney's Temple Run: Brave leads Google Play's paid charts in its premiere week, unseating former sales leaders Cut the Rope and Draw Something.

Max Payne Mobile also sees a strong debut this week at sixth place, as fellow Rockstar-published title Grand Theft Auto III ranks in at tenth.

Here are this week's top free Android game applications:

1. 100 Floors (Tobi Apps)
2. Temple Run (Imangi)
3. Angry Birds Space (Rovio)
4. Angry Birds (Rovio)
5. Cut the Rope Free (ZeptoLab)
6. Bow Man (Beer Bar)
7. Fruit Ninja Free (Halfbrick)
8. Diamond Blast (Words Mobile)
9. Pac-Chomp (Namco Bandai)
10. Knee Surgery (Fit Body)

Tobi Apps' room puzzler 100 Floors heads up the free app charts for the second week in a row, fending off competition from Temple Run and Angry Birds Space.

Bow Man and Diamond Blast both see increases in popularity after impressive debuts last week, while Namco Bandai's puzzler Pac-Chomp and Fit Body's surgery sim Knee Surgery close out the top ten.
