Newsbrief: Amidst THQ's financial woes, the publisher's vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer Teri Manby has resigned from her position and will leave at the end of the month.

Manby, who has been with THQ since 2008, resigned last week on June 14, and will relinquish her role on July 6. THQ's CFO Paul Pucino will assume the role of Chief Accounting Officer, while Rose Cunningham, who has been at THQ for seven years and is currently senior director of financial reporting, has been promoted to vice president and corporate controller.

Her resignation comes at a time when THQ's revenues have taken a turn for the worse, with the company having already been forced to lay off entire studios as a result of its poor financials.

And this is a surprise?

I wonder how many execs pocketed money off of gullible Brian Farrell?

THQ should just die and get it over with. I hope all the employees will be ok , but it is time to put this sick company to rest.
