Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings The Amazing Spider-Man and Spec Ops: The Line to North America, while Europe gets Project Zero 2: Wii Edition and The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending June 30th, 2012.

Games Released in the United States:

Yager Development's squad-based shooter Spec Ops: The Line ships this week in North America for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms. Featuring a story inspired by Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness, The Line boasts a unique sandstorm mechanic that dynamically alters terrain during gameplay.

Also arriving on store shelves this week are Beenox's superhero film tie-in title The Amazing Spider-Man, Ubisoft's dancing sim track pack Just Dance: Greatest Hits, and Capcom's Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection, which includes upgraded, PlayStation Move-compatible versions of Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and The Darkside Chronicles.

Games Released in Europe:

Europe hosts a number of region-exclusive debuts this week, including the multiplatform biking sim Tour De France 2012, the animated film-based Ice Age 4: Continental Drift - Arctic Games, and The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy: Classics HD, which collects the PlayStation 2 platformers Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal.

Also arriving this week is Project Zero 2, a Wii remake of Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly that accompanies the European launch of the 3DS Fatal Frame spinoff Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir.

5pb's Steins;Gate spiritual successor Robotics;Notes launches for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Japan this week, arriving alongside other visual novel releases like Hakuouki: Reimeiroku Nagorigusa, Hakuisei Renai Shoukougun Re:Therapy, Arabians Lost ~The engagement on desert~, and Ouka Sengoku Portable.

Other standout titles premiering this week include Nippon Ichi's PlayStation 3 action-RPG Majo to Hyakkihei, new 3DS entries in the Culdcept and Tantei Jinguuji Saburo series, and .hack Sekai No Mukou Ni + Versus Hybrid Pack, which includes an animated film and a new one-on-one fighting game developed by Namco Bandai.
