For the fourth consecutive since its initial launch, Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes sat atop the UK sales charts last week, with no new releases in the top 40 to challenge it.
For the week ended July 14, and according to data from tracking firm Chart-Track, sales of the game fell by 19 percent week-over week. Anticipation for the upcoming Olympic Games in London wasn't enough to push Sega's London 2012: The Official Video Game up to number one, although Mario & Sonic London 2012 Olympic Games did re-enter the charts at number 10.
Retail promotions helped Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier jump back up to the number 5, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 up to number 6. Both games saw sales increase by 41 percent week-over-week.
The only new entry was Namco Bandai's third-person shooter Inversion, which launched last month in the U.S. to poor reviews. The game just managed to scrape into the charts at number 50.
