Relic co-founder Moravek rejoins THQ in management revamp

Newsbrief: THQ continues to make moves towards a hopeful recovery, as Relic Entertainment co-founder Ron Moravek is the latest big name to be added to THQ's management team revamp.

Moravek has been appointed executive vice president of production at the company, and will be heavily assisting the team in its new digital business model strategy. He has over 14 years of experience in the industry, having worked as CP and COO of Electronic Art's Canada business last decade.

He co-founded Company of Heroes studio Relic in 1997, and left in 2006, two years after the company was acquired by THQ.

THQ CEO Brian Farrell told Gamasutra earlier this month that, while times have been tough for his company as of late, it is looking to turn things around with strong new leadership and numerous quality games over the next year.

Sad thing is... when THQ has things going right... they have a great system. As a gamer, I typically buy more THQ games than any other major publisher.
