Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings Dead or Alive 5, FIFA Soccer 13, Pro Evolution Soccer 2013, and World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria to retailers in North America and Europe.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending September 29th, 2012.

Games Released in the United States:

EA's FIFA Soccer 13 and Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 premiere across multiple platforms this week in North America. Pro Evolution's latest sequel features the new ProActive AI system that simulates real-world player actions, while EA's game boasts gameplay-refining First Touch Control and an updated Ultimate Team mode.

Other high-profile titles hitting store shelves this week include Tecmo Koei's one-on-one fighter Dead or Alive 5, Rovio's series-spanning console release Angry Birds Trilogy, and Blizzard's World of Warcraft expansion Mists of Pandaria.

Digital highlights include Capcom's classic fighter compilation Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, Sony's PS3-exclusive urban survival game Tokyo Jungle, and Arkedo's frenetic platformer Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit.

FIFA 13 headlines this week's European release schedule, while Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners can also expect to see Atlus's RPG-based fighter Persona 4: Arena.

Region-exclusive debuts include the Marvelous-developed PS Vita RTS New Little King's Story, an expanded rerelease for Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 5, and English-language localizations for Level-5's Wii soccer sim Inazuma Eleven Strikers and Compile Heart's PlayStation 3 RPG Mugen Souls.

The PlayStation Vita hosts a strong release lineup in Japan this week with anticipated titles like Falcom's action-RPG Ys: Celceta no Jukai, CyberFront's rhythm game DJMAX Technika Tune, and D3 Publisher's Chikyuu Boueigun 3 Portable (previously released on the Xbox 360 in North America as Earth Defense Force 2017).

Other titles hitting Japan this week include Bandai Namco's PSP strategy game SD Gundam G Generation Overworld, Square Enix's open-world crime drama Sleeping Dogs: Hong Kong Himitsu Keisatsu, and Nintendo's Style Savvy sequel Wagamama Fashion: GirlsMode Yokubari Sengen!

I knew FIFA 13 was coming out thanks to all the email from EA.

They think I loved FIFA 12 since scammers charged $100 in designed-to-be-abusable FIFA 12 purchases on my XBLA account during the 'there's no security issue here, really' fiasco.
