Newsbrief: A group of former People Can Fly veterans has formed a new studio and announced an Unreal Engine licensing agreement for its debut and future titles.

The Astronauts was founded by Adrian Chmielarz, Andrzej Poznanski and Michal Kosieradzki, and the studio's first unannounced game is due for release next year, with a focus on "imaginative visuals and rich story-telling."

Chmielarz, Poznanski and Kosieradzki have previously worked on titles like Painkiller and Bulletstorm, with 50 years of experience in the video game industry between them.
