Newsbrief: In a week of huge new releases, including Arkane and Bethesda's Dishonored, Nintendo's Pokemon Black and White 2 and 2K Games' XCOM: Enemy Unknown, EA's FIFA 13 still managed to hang on to the top spot in the UK sales charts.

Despite a 63 percent drop in sales week-over-week, this is FIFA 13's third consecutive week at number one, where it has sat since it launched. However, Dishonored still saw a strong launch, making it the biggest new IP launch this year in the UK.

According to data from Chart-Track, XCOM launched at number seven, while Pokemon Black 2 debuted at number three, and Pokemon White 2 came in at number five.

I'm hoping XCOM sells a lot, to remember this gaming industry we still want difficult and strategic games
