Newsbrief: Developers working with the popular Unity Engine now have two more middleware options at their disposal, as the providers of Shade 3D and Pingflux have both launched new tools made specifically for Unity.

Shade 3D developer E frontier, Inc. just debuted "Shade 3D for Unity," which allows developers to build and animate 3D content that integrates with Unity 3D. The tool is based on the company's existing Shade middleware and is available for free on the Mac App Store. (It will be available via other marketplaces at a later date.)

Meanwhile, UK middleware provider Setgo recently announced a new Unity SDK for Pingflux, an analytics tool for mobile game development. With this new SDK, developers using Unity will be able to more easily integrate analytics into their iOS or Android games. Those interested in using the new tool can register online for more details.

For more information on either of these new releases, check out the Shade 3D or Pingflux websites.
