Every other week, Gamasutra examines the most popular Facebook games according to monthly active users, looking at the top titles and developers on the social network to see who's attracting or losing players.

Zynga's FarmVille 2 was once again the most popular game on Facebook last week, far ahead of any other title when it comes to audience size, but its user count numbers are shrinking, from nearly 62 million two weeks ago to now 53.2 million.

The other Zynga titles at the top of the social network's Games Leaderboard either gained users or lost a relatively small number of players, unlike in recent weeks when they've shed a considerable amount of them.

Those games include Texas HoldEm Poker/Zynga Poker (+1.1 million), Bubble Safari (-700,000), and ChefVille (-1.1 million). Previously, those three titles lost a total of 17 million users in a single month -- as FarmVille 2's numbers swelled.

Wooga's Diamond Dash breaks the Zynga streak on the Games Leaderboard and takes the #5 spot, even though it gained just 200,000 players recently. Meanwhile, Zynga Slingo dropped a spot after losing 1.8 million users.

Ruby Blast Adventures, a Diamond Dash clone by Zynga, however, has quickly shot up the chart by ten spots to #7, picking up 6.8 million users along the way toward an 18.4 million total. It's on track to overtake Diamond Dash within the week.
