Newsbrief: Social game studio Kixeye has opened a new development studio in the capital city of British Columbia, Canada, and appointed former Zynga director of development Clayton Stark as its general manager.

Victoria-based Kixeye Canada is currently hiring for "new special projects," and company CEO Will Harbin says that the new studio will be looking to expand aggressively over the coming months.

This Canadian studio follows a similar opening in Australia earlier this year, as Kixeye formed a new studio in Brisbane.
