The majority of reviews for Joe Danger Touch say that it is as good, if not better, than the console versions. Says Murray, "That's a massive triumph for us, it's a first for an iOS game, and is where I think things are going."| Muir Freeland |

I totally agree that mobile games have a lot of room to grow, and that they should aspire to be more than watered-down cousins of console games.

It seems like this is a premium + IAP game without a demo?
It'll need a huge marketing push to have even a chance at success. |

@Saul,
Joe Danger is currently the #1 paid app on the iOS App Store, as well as this weeks' Editor's Choice. Looks like they got the huge marketing push that they needed :) |

The feature is a nice bonus, but for games to survive they need FAR more marketing then that. Marketing a paid game on Mobile is an uphill battle. |

From what I've played on consoles, the game's control scheme is ideal for mobile (I remember thinking that it felt like an iPad game being played on consoles), and the gameplay is probably best played on small bursts (which is also ideal for mobile). It doesn't hurt that is very well made also :)
Must buy. |
