Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.
This week brings God of War: Ascension, StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, and Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 to retailers in North America and Europe, while Japan gets Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Re MIX and Super Robot Taisen UX.

Games Released in the United States:
Blizzard's RTS expansion StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm premieres for Windows and Mac worldwide this week, offering up a 20-mission campaign and a variety of new multiplayer-specific unit types.
PlayStation 3 owners can expect to see Sony's God of War: Ascension this week, while City Interactive's shooter Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 and Capcom's downloadable 2D fighter compilation Darkstalkers Resurrection are set to premiere for both the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Games Released in Japan:
Capcom's Darkstalkers Resurrection gets a retail release (as Vampire Resurrection) for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Japan this week, as the PS3 additionally hosts Tecmo Koei's horse racing sim Winning Post 7 2013 and an upgraded version of Square Enix's Disney crossover RPG Kingdom Hearts.
On the portable console front, Bandai's strategy-RPG Super Robot Taisen UX is set to launch for the Nintendo 3DS, while PS Vita owners can look forward to ports of both entries in 5pb's popular Steins;Gate visual novel series.
