Social app and game monetization firm Tapjoy may be based on San Francisco, but that hasn't stopped the company from going all-in on the Australian game development scene.

The company's new "Australia Fund" program sees Tapjoy commiting its development, marketing and distribution support to iOS and Android developers in Australia.

Tapjoy reasons that the Australian development community is one of the fastest-growing developer communities in the world, and offering these studios tools and resources will benefit everyone involved.

Notably, the Australian government clearly agrees with Tapjoy, as it recently announced that it was bolstering its games industry with $20 million in funding.

Those Australian mobile developers who already have at least one app publicly available for either iOS or Android can visit the official Australia Fund website for more details.
