Newsbrief: Alexey Pajitnov, the original designer for Tetris, has been creating new titles here and there for years, though none have stormed the world as much as his first. His Hexic currently comes pre-loaded on all Xbox 360 hard drives. Now, Pajitnov is moving into iOS space with Marbly.

The game is a puzzler (of course) with a match-three mechanic. Published by WildSnake Software, it is said to be the first of several puzzle games Pajitnov has in the pipeline.

You can check out Marbly for yourself from the iTunes store.

I believe this game was originally released for browsers as early as 2008. Anyway, best of luck to Alexey and WildSnake on their mobile version.
