Hard to believe: It's E3 time again.
Over the next week, tens of thousands of game industry professionals will converge on the L.A. Convention Center and the surrounding area for the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo, where many of the industry's major players will be detailing their product strategies for the rest of 2013 and beyond.
Beginning Monday, Gamasutra's editorial staff will be on location at E3 with on-site coverage of breaking events, interviews, and in-depth analysis tailored for our unique audience of game industry professionals.
Sony and Microsoft will deliver platform-oriented press conferences during the week, while major third parties Electronic Arts and Ubisoft will hold individual conferences to discuss their upcoming lineups. Nintendo will be streaming its press conference through Nintendo Direct and an on-site presence at E3.
This year also brings us the first-annual Horizon press conference
, an alternative E3 event hosted by Venus Patrol and Los Angeles's Museum of Contemporary Art.
